Ashley Horton

Ashley Horton is the National Event Coordinator for The Anthem Group and Anthem Entertainment. The Anthem Group is the parent company of several subsidiary projects and corporations, including Anthem Entertainment, Anthem Marketing, Street Eats, Inc. and The Anthem Tree Foundation. Ashley's primary role is to oversee event operations in all of Anthem's domestic U.S. markets with a particular emphasis on Boston, MA - the company's hometown.

Ashley graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts from the Communication School at The University of New Hampshire (UNH). While at The University of New Hampshire, Ashley was a Dean's List student, presented findings from her own longitudinal research study at the Department of Communications Research Conference and also minored in Sociology. Ashley was held in such high regard during her tenor at UNH that she was just one of five students selected to join a faculty review panel to discuss, critique and improve college’s academic performance.

In addition to her primary responsibilities with Anthem, Ashley is also on the Board of Directors for Street Eats, Inc, the Board of Advisors for the S3 Organization, a teen drunk-driving prevention foundation, and The Anthem Tree Foundation. She is also a popular volunteer with the Malden, MA public school system, the Massachusetts Children's Trust Fund and many of the partner charities that The Anthem Group works with.

Some career highlights include:

  • Solidifying a seven figure marketing program - while still an intern
  • Managing all aspects of the 500+ person biannual Bruins Pub Crawls
  • Spearheading coordination for the annual New England Dessert Showcase
  • Published several articles and blogs on events, consumer trends and fashion
  • Leading the production and execution of all of Anthem’s fashion based events
  • Supervising the personnel and managers for the 70 city International Music Festival

In her personal life, Ashley is a passionate volunteer, interested in music and sports, in particular baseball, football and basketball. Her enthusiasm for her interests shines through in her Anthem projects, having worked on campaigns with all of the Boston area professional sports teams, all of the Division I Boston-area Colleges and thousands of musicians across the globe.

Ashley is the prime example of the benefit of hard work, creativity and perseverance. She began her career with Anthem as an intern right after college graduation. She was brought on full-time as an event coordinator and quickly continued to rise. By the time she was 25 years old, she had managed over 500 events and had hundreds of personnel reporting to her. Ashley now works with the Company Founder and President on near all strategic and creative decisions, not just for events but for marketing programs, catering projects and consulting contracts. With her career still in the early stages and her unique relationship with Anthem, Ashley’s potential is limitless.
